Running headwear is designed to survive heat and sweat, because a runner will notice a bad hat within a mile. Those are stricter standards, and they are the ones that matter when you are four hours into a round in full sun.

The Anaka is built to the running standard. Golfers found it on their own.

TWO THINGS MOST RUNNING CAPS GET WRONG

Almost every unstructured cap uses a foam visor. It is cheap, it is light, and it collapses after a season of sweat and washing. We use a hard visor instead, thicker than standard and stitched with an upgraded thread, so the brim holds its shape for the life of the hat. Same visor construction as the Vertex, our most structured hat.

The second is the sweatband. Ours is double thickness, which does two things: it absorbs significantly more sweat before saturating, and it sits more comfortably against your forehead across a long day.

WHY POLYESTER, ON PURPOSE

Our shirts use natural fibers because that is what belongs against your skin. A hat has to hold shape, absorb sweat, and dry fast. Polyester is the right material for that job and we use it deliberately.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Is it good for golf? This is our hot weather golf hat. The unstructured build sits lighter than a structured snapback, and the double thick sweatband is why people reach for it on the hottest rounds.

Why does it look like a running cap? Because it is one. We built it to running standards for heat and sweat management, and those standards are higher than what most golf headwear is held to. It works for both.

Does it float? No. The Acu and Pana have a buoyant visor core. The Anaka is built for light weight and ventilation.

How is it different from the Vertex? Same build quality and the same upgraded visor and stitching. The difference is structure. The Vertex has a structured crown and sits firm on your head. The Anaka is unstructured and sits light. Same $48, opposite feel, so it comes down to whether you want a hat you notice or one you forget.

How does it fit? Adjustable strap with buckle, one size, fits most head sizes.
